INDIVIDUALIZED EDUCATIONAL PLANNING FOR A UNIVERSITY STUDENT WITH AUTISM

ABSTRACT Researchers question the inclusive university process of students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), aiming at permanence and completion course. Individualized Educational Planning (IEP) is a support strategy for ASD in basic education. The objective was to describe analyze development application PEI student compare academic performance before after PEI. It case study, evaluations teacher involvement. results elaboration differences menu schedule subjects studied. Prior (analysis six four-month periods prior survey), had two total withdrawals period, four disapprovals seven cancellations disciplines. After PEI, analysis three subsequent quarters, discipline canceled. data evidence as concrete effective student’s permanence, well viable continuing training Special Education, context.
